    Sign of the Times: Construction Spanglish


    I was in Builders Booksource bookstore in Berkeley the other day and there was this “dictionary” for speaking “construction Spanglish”.

    Next to it was a laminated gatefold pamphlet with point-and-tell diagrams for putting up sheetrock, with English and Spanish captions.
