Cool Online Vectorization Tool

alfa_8c_14_1024_vectorized%20small.jpg

VectorMagic is a very cool online tool for vectorizing bitmap images. The front page is ugly, but the interface once it gets going is nicely done. And more importantly it does a very nice job of vectoring images. Above is a sample on the “low” resolution setting. You can download the final images in EPS, SVG and PNG formats. It appears to be an experimental project going on at Stanford. If you don’t need vectorization very often and/or don’t work with Flash, check it out.
