Spring has Sprung

Spring here in the San Francisco Bay Area seems to have come and gone while I was in the shower last weekend, and we are now straight into summer. In honor of that fact, I'm belatedly changing the banner to a shot of some daffodils tulips [thanks Jonathan] that I took in Chicago last year.

Um, aren't those tulips? At least, they look like tulips. It's a great shot either way.

We're in Chicago now, and this Spring has been really beautiful. The daffodils were incredible, and the tulips are, in many places, still going strong. The trees have been flowering since about Easter time, and the crab apples are gorgeous. Lilacs everywhere too.
